Plein Air
Southwest England by Jessie Krause

Edited by Robb Arent

Plein Air: a French expression meaning "in the open air." Particularly used to describe the act of creating art outdoors.

In the fall of 2014 Jessie and I spent three weeks traveling through Southwest England. It was a chance to see the villages and landscapes that inspired Jane Austen and Thomas Hardy. Those same locations inspired Jessie to create more than 30 works of art. This book takes you along on our trip through Jessie's photos and art.
